SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS & GUIDELINES

 

 

 

Publiship Logistics Inc. is a certified member of C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism). Consistent with Publiship’s obligations and responsibilities
under C­ TPAT, we strongly recommend that all business partners (customers, vendors,
service providers, etc.) comply with the following supply chain security guidelines:
 
 

· To maintain their own C-TPAT or C-TPAT equivalent (AEO, PIP, etc.) certification

       status (if eligible).

•     To immediately notify Publiship Logistics in the event of a change in C-TPAT or TPAT equivalent status (if applicable).

•     To immediately notify Publiship Logistics or other government authorities in the event of any actual breach in security or suspected breach in security.

· To ensure that all information used in the processing of cargo is legible, complete, accurate and protected against the exchange, loss or introduction of erroneous

      information.

•     To secure, protect and restrict access to all electronic data systems, documentation and other information relating to cargo shipments.

· To ensure that computer systems are secure including the use of passwords, current

      anti­ virus and anti-spyware software to prevent infiltration.

•     To properly secure its facilities from unauthorized access; which might include electronic access systems, fencing, security guards, security cameras and lighting.

•     To properly train shipping staff to properly inspect all merchandise and containers prior to loading.

•     To properly secure all cargo loading and handling areas and all transportation equipment storage areas. To restrict access to authorized personnel only.

•     To verify and ensure that ISO/PAS 17712 Certified high security seals are properly placed on all containers/trailers bound for the United States.

· To properly train its staff on identifying and reporting suspicious people, activities,

      objects and packages.

•     To regularly evaluate and self-assess its supply chain security procedures and internal controls.

 

All Business Partners agree to grant access to its facilities at any time so that Publiship Logistics or its authorized agents might conduct security assessments and evaluations.

 

Business Partners further agree to consider supply chain security recommendations received from Publiship Logistics Inc.
